Poor Quality, but “Worth Every Penny”
Price v. Quality: This is a very cheap quality silica absorbent. However, given the price, what more can we expect? The quality is low, but it is proportional to the price of the product. I have scrolled through Amazon for hours, looking for a decent silica absorbent. There were few who had 5g x 10 at double the price of this. This one is roughly Rs. 2.5/packet, which for my intents and purposes, and also my budget, fair enough.Pros: Cheap, plenty (suitable if you have many small areas/bags etc. to cover for a small time frame.Cons: The paper covering is both too thick for some serious absorption and of cheap quality, so easily tears off.Comparison: If you want to prevent humidity in a large area, go for box dehumidifiers. This is only for tiny objects like 1 each in a small box, 1 each in a shoe, 1-2 in each drawer, 1-2 in each zip of your bags, etc.Final Take: Do not but this for unrealistic purposes and exoections and then be disappointed. This is NOT for large areas or objects. Buy as per your goal. Go for better ones if it’s worth the money, but I haven’t found any one that is 100% decent so better start with a cheap option, even as a trial.

Average product at times
Due to winter season, there were lot of fungus, moulds due to moisturizer.. So I started ordering this product.. I am not sure about the moisture absorbency as I just started using it. But what I observed is that I get poor quality silica gel wrapping cover at times. You can see the difference in the picture I attached. One was poor quality wrapping paper and another one was with good quality wrapping cover. So, there are chances that the wrapping cover can tear off and the beads can start falling off

Seems to assist in humidity conditions (especially rain season)
Tried this out first time in cookie jars & such products (2×5 gms in each 700-900ml jar). Worked well as some of the products didn’t go soft during the rains. Worth a try. Add more packs for larger jars or products susceptible to moisture attraction.

I take a replacement for this product I feel something happened from the seller site after the receiving my replacement I found this is the sand only I thought let’s test I break one package dissol try to dissolve into the water it’s not dissolving and this is the sent only

It’s moisture absorbing quality
It is a very good product. Once on the occasion of Holi my iPhone waited with colored water and stopped working. After that I put my iPhone in a box filled with silica and kept it for more than 12 hours. And then my phone starts working.
