It doesn’t work
First it came with one wheel dont fit. I tried to get a refund. Almost impossible to return as they need you to talk to them to do a return, but they only accept Indian phone numbers, where mine is a US phone number. So could not return. Now after using it for almost 3 weeks and trying every setting, i leaned that, It does not cool. It is just waste of money. It is just a loud pedestal fan.

This air cooler is good for small room…use chilled water & ice cubes for better result.But if your temperature is near about 40° then it will not work properly.Othetwise good for any small room. But I must say symphony customer care is not at all helpful. I have received my air cooler with 2 defective wheels & after third attempt of Amazon they have visited my home. But their technicians are not so knowledgeable. They doesn’t have much idea about the mechine.But the cooler is good, no noise,no leakage. If u can manage it & use it properly then go for it.

Well, this looks good and that is all. There is nothing going in for it. Although wheels are provided, the movement is not smooth may be because of small wheels. Draining the water is a nightmare as you need to take it to bathroom or someplace where you can keep to let the water leak from the unit. The drain plug is at the absolute bottom of the unit and very difficult to reach both while removing the drain plug and also while re-fixing it back. It is important to drain unused water in air coolers frequently to avoid infestations of germs and and prevent bad smell, but this cooler does not let you do that. Another biggest drawback is the location to put water. It is at the back of the unit! As we all know, it is important to keep air cooler near a window so that the cooling pads face the window’s open air side to draw warm air, but every time we want to put water in it, we have to move the cooler and realign again and again. Now comes the biggest worst part of this cooler- cooling: it could not perform satisfactorily even when the outside humidity is 30%! The problem is more likely with the blower type of fan used, which cause most of cooling effect to be lost within the fan mechanism itself. Now even more annoying part is the NOISE! it sounds horrible, can’t hear a thing happening outside when this cooler is on in the room – even in the LOW mode. Forget about using phone, listening to music or attending to office calls. Not sure what is this cooler for. While I have nothing against Amazon delivery, they only offer replacement, no return available. So we are stuck with this junk once bought. Very sorry to see Symphony designed such a worst product unit which could not meet the purpose it is intended, while looks wise it is design is good.
