I’ve tried 4 different “grater/slicers” over the past several months only to be disappointed and return them. This one now has a place of pride with my favorite appliances. I grate a lot of cheeses and this one does a perfect job. My only complaint is that it’s somewhat “messy” to use. The gratings come out a wide mouth that is close to the counter, which makes it difficult to find a bowl that works well with it. My final solution was to just use parchment paper rather than a bowl, which works better than I expected. Slicing veggies is easy and uniform. Worth every penny!

Is not perfect. Worked well for grating a bunch of carrots for a side dish I make. The photos show what happened when I used the fine grater on Parmesan cheese. As one review said, it turned out long sticks (as shown in first photo) which is not good for most things Parmesan is used for. I grated an entire wedge and popped it into the freezer for later use. Will be making Alfredo sauce today and really did not want to mess with sticks of cheese for melting so I ran it through a small food processor. Photos show results of that. Definitely good enough for melting, but doubt I would sprinkle it on a salad or pizza.I havenât tried the other three blades and doubt Iâll use them much anyway. I think the finer grater might be best with small cubes of cheese because the blade is going to cut your cheese any length you initially put in the chute.Next comes attempting to grate a large amount of sharp cheddar with the same blade I used for carrots and I think the same rule will applyâ¦cut cheese into smaller chunks first to avoid long shreds. I could be wrong, but thatâs my theory. Will use this only when I have a lot to shred. Small amounts Iâll still do with a regular grater. Conclusion: It fits my needs due to arthritis, but end product is not what you would get with a hand grater, either box or rotary. Itâs easy to clean and one thing I do like is that it has an on/off switch so I donât have to hold a button down to run it.

It was entirely too big for my available space.

When I urchased this unit, nowhere is the correct voltage mentioned, only that it is for USA which is 110 VAC NOT 110VDC ,I will refrain from buying electrical appliances from Amazon, unless voltage is clearly specified, I cannot use the machine at all, BAD buy for me and bad experience
