The Re-usable Box has been designed for use in larger spaces such as storerooms, spare rooms and lofts. The box comes with a convenient Refill Pouch. Once the contents of the Refill Pouch have been exhausted, simply drain the moisture collected in the lower compartment and replace with a new pouch. However, be careful when using next to food and other perishables, as this variant is not spill proof. Not recommended for use in closets and in proximity to perishables. Avoid placing near or on wood.Each Re-usable Box comes with one Refill Pouch.To Use: Simply take the plastic cover off the Refill Pouch, and place the bag, as it is, on the top compartment of the Re-usable Box, and place the box out of reach. Once the contents of the pouch have been exhausted, drain the water collected in the lower compartment of the box, and replace with a new Refill Pouch. Good product and works
The product is good and works. I used it for my car which was getting fungus in monsoon and worked very well to reduce moisture. One of the pieces came broken due to bad packaging and handling. It was packed in thin polythene and product is heavy so if not handled properly it is bound to break. Recommend seller to pack it in cartons. However, Amazon refunded the damaged product after pictures were uploaded of the broken product and packaging.

Works! Read thru my tips
I stay closeby hills and we have rains throughout monsoon and winter seasons. Its wet, cold and damp throughout 8 months of the year, peaking in winters. I had issues with fungus, moulds outside n inside of my wooden shelves, bathrooms and it used to give me triggers of unbearable rhinitis. I have been using this product for one 3 weeks now, and I can see, so far no moulds have appeared and my triggers are less. I am able to sleep thru the night.The cons is -It does not work for 3 months. Its only 3 weeks and my boxes are filled with liquid. So the ones that are in shelves, may stay longer upto 2 months.My tips-For rooms, I have bought the bucket size n placed it near my bed n another tv area. Small ones finishes off too fast.Place it carefully and drain out the liquid carefully onto the toilet.Do not purchase pouches, as they tend to make holes n spill.Invest in reusable box, though the size of the box occupies more space than the rectangular ones.If you keep it close to a fan or a window, then then absorption is very quick. So you may have to replace quickly, so you can slightly move it away.

This is a very good and useful product for someone living in a humid place. It absorbs moisture from air and converts it into a liquid/gel that gets stored in the container. It prevents bad smell in air and fungus on furniture.

Can be avoided…
Like others have mentioned, i received 2/3 cracked boxes either bottom or top portion because of very poor packaging and not that plastic box quality is good for the price we are paying. In fact, like few of them, the liquid started leaking and fortunately or unfortunately i noticed this at 3 AM. You can imagine my situation then. Hard to clean once it leaks. Quality of these boxes haven’t changed even after they have received so many feedbacks from customers. This is what i don’t like.

Not for places exceeding 80% humidity
You’d need to replace three of them once in 3 days if your room humidity is more than 80, that is even after placing 3 on the same room.Better go for an electric compressor type dehumidifier if your room is that humid. Peltier type (the so called noise free) are even more useless than this calcium chloride.But yes, this one does absorb a lot of moisture from the air.It’s just not economical.
