Cheap plastic, leaking – very low quality
I ordered it based on the 4.5 stars over 1000+ reviews.This is a bad product.. plain and simple. The plastic quality is ultra cheap. Worse than chinese shops. The design is bad, it sprays out when you pour water. Also, there’s a gap when the lid opens and the hot steam on the inner lid slids down to the handle where you are holding the kettle. So, if you open the lid after it boils, be ready for some hot water drops to fall on your hand.The manufacturing cost would be < Rs 200 and Amazon is selling it with 'Amazon Basics' stamp for Rs 1000+... They should cut off the deal with this manufacturer / supplier

It works absolutely fine.Cord length is fine in my case.The packaging was appropriate.It really makes very low noise – I was surprised to that.Auto switch off works properly.The outer body become hot but it’s touchable and won’t make sudden burns if any body part touches it accidentally.Though there is a gap between the outer body and the inner metal vessel, which rises up the question of overall build quality. It isn’t super rough & tough device.Now the main concern is that only a certain section of the vessel bottom is boiling, which in my opinion will partly boil the liquid inside.Is that a manufacturing defect or everyone faces more or less the same issue?
