Great for regular use
Good finishing and great product quality. Have used it regularly for about 1 month now. So far no issues, working perfectly fine and the thick slots allow for thick bakery breads to be toasted. Temp control is also good, gives the required browning.

Toasts very quickly and dark
I had to set my toaster setting on 1 in order to not burn the toast.It should be able to go up to 3 setting without burning, but it does not.It toasts very well – just be warned that if you don’t like burned toast, keep the setting at “1”.

Simple and sturdy
Better than Haffele, since these are American and German designed and quality controlled. Haffele is made in China now, and quality control is mediocre. Black and Decker has always maintained their quality and durability as usual since 3 decades.

These Indian toasters are too powerful for the quality boffins bread manufactured here compared to North America. Even at level 2 toasts gets toasted more than I like at. But I can easily live and adjust to it….

Stylish toaster without the lid
Black+Decker make very good looking products. Last time I’ve ordered their steam irons and when I saw this toaster on discount, I got it too. The product looks good, even if quality of the plastic is average, cheaper models of other brands use something similar. It doesnt have a lid, so will need to figure out how to protect it from dust.Regardless of its little flaws, I dont regret that I got it, it works and design is really nice.

Poor Product quality and service
Toaster worked fine, initially. The first problems of one element not working cropped up in 6 months, it took almost 4 weeks and multiple visits to the service centre to get it sorted out. Now in 11 months multiple heating elements have packed up , one month has passed no news from the service centre when it will be repaired or replaced . The toaster is still within the warranty period. Update on 15th Jan 2020 : The product has been not working and since the past 3 months. We have spent more money on taxi fare to the service centre and chasing them up. Amazon should ban Black and Decker products. Planning to take the legal route . Their service ethic is based on trying to dupe the customer, till the customer gives up.

Massive design flaw
The bread slots of the toaster is slightly shorter in height. The top edges of normal sized breads does not get as brown as the rest of the bread as they stick out of the bread slots. Otherwise the product is well made with decent material quality.
