Good quality AC at this price
It’s a good quality AC at a reasonable price. Takes less than 10 mins to cool the room. Noise level is minimable though little noise at high fan speed. I have been using Carrier for the last 10 years, no issues faced. Total installation cost was 3400 (1415 for installation + other accessories).

Installation guy damaged the Swing Flap, No vacuuming, was in hurry.
> I asked installation guy during call before arriving my place to bring Vacuum Pump, he said ok but didn’t bring, he also refused to do it when installing.> Also installation guy damaged the swing flap during unboxing because he pulled out the tape carelessly, which caused swing not working.> He also refused to install Voltage regulator & skipped clamping wires & leave them.> He was in hurry so much so i told him to come next day when he has time, he got furious & started talking loudly.> After efforts somehow installation completed but he skipped the AC running test as he was in hurry, last but not least he took installation amount but didn’t gave me receipt though i made payment online.> Later I turned ON AC & found the swing is not working. I called customer care, the girl tried to convince me instead understanding the technicality, she said it is normal & swing will start working after sometime then i talked with manager, he was asking for repair.I refused because product was faulty out of the box & didn’t worked for even once, the repair comes when product must works good earlier at least once.Then manager made conference call with service center owner & told me to talk with them (then i came to know that brand is outsourcing the services to local shops, who has no interest to maintain Brand trust & goodwill ). I asked to replace the product as i found 1 problem out of the box & don’t know how many more will come later.But they insist on repair.Manager was silent all the time & owner talking rudely & he said “jo karna ho kar lo AC return nahi hoga, jaao jaa k Amazon se baat karo”.>>So much bad experience. Never gonna buy from Carrier.Later thanks to Amazon who returned the product (i.e.Out of the Box faulty product).

Cheap plastic quality
The A.C works pretty well in scorching summer it cools down the room in just 15 minutes, operation is easy. But two major problems are:1. Plastic quality of the body is too cheap. It will crack 8 out of 10 times while installing or while servicing, my body also got cracked while clipping together. But the service center guy from Aarbee Refrigeration was generous enough to admit that it was their fault, and they will replace it on their own. But 2 months passed away the service center did not received the part till day.2. This ac don’t have the feature of horizontal swing. So if your wall gets hot, you should avoid this model.Overall not amazing experience, but I can’t complain. But company must solve this part issue and they maust inprove the quality of plastic.You can look for a cheaper version of this same model from Midea also. Same product, same internal components, branding is different, much cheaper. It was unavailable in the stock while I was purchasing, so I missed it.ð¥²

Happy with this purchase & installation
I purchased this product for my house and opted for 3-star as 5-star is not cost-wise worthy here being it will not run daily but on hot summer days only.Surprisingly within 1 hr. of delivery by Amazon, I got the installation initiation call from customer care and followed by service engineer’s call. However I had to delay for 2 days for some readyness. The service person was so polite and well behaved. He also gave me a complete demo after installation. I am happy with the initial installation service and 1 week of usage. Now need to see it for long run.Note that service personnel does not carry any consumables others than wrapping insulator tape for cooling pipes and drainage pipe (they will charge â¹30+â¹30 per ft. for these 2 items) and 1 pair bracket (charged â¹850/-) for external unit. They provided quality products, that I verified. Additionally installation charge was â¹1200.However, for all new customers, I will suggest to keep following items ready prior to the installation as I did too.1. 16 amp good quality plug-top.2. 1 pkt white cement and small cloth pieces to block the wall cavity.3. 2 nos. AAA size alkaline batteries (for remote)4. Small sponge piece (for checking leakage post installation).5. Keep a 2 ft drill bit available with you incase wall width is of 15 or 20 inch (for very old buildings) or arrange for the hole available (slightly downward outside) prior to the installation.I have shared images to show how well the service person covered all wall cavities. Also don’t forget to close room openings like ventilators, opening below door and window (if any) for better result.Also decide approximate position of external unit. Note that you get only 10 ft long copper cooling pipe along with the unit. Any further extension could be too costly (true for all brands ).Review comment regarding the product :Pros – cooling the room very quick and remote is very user friendly.Using the remote you can switch off temp display light on the unit if you like to have a complete dark room at night.With the cooling effect, it seems to me that only 1 ton AC would have been enough for a 120 sq.ft. room instead of 1.5 ton AC.Cons – at minimum fan speed expected the unit to run silently.

Cooling is what matters
The AC is good but we got a smaller one for our room, so the cooling is not upto the mark. The delivery was very late, had to follow up multiple times. The technician did reach on time.

Sweep is poor (actual picture)
Good AC, good cooling effect. But the sweep angles are very poor. The air sweep does not go below approx 45 degree angle. My 6×6 bed is positioned 4 ft away from the wall, yet half of the bed does not get direct cool air. It’s very frustrating npw in peak summers.These are very basic design fails. It’s a great product which is rated as average because someone did not pay attention to air flow.The actual picture is attached, from the angle the picture is taken, at max sweep, I was not getting any direct air flow.
