A cute little air purifier from a trusted brand world wide
My observation after using this product for a week.Pros :- Elegant looking. It blends in naturally wherever we keep.- Has three fan speed setting. Low for night, Medium for day long use. High when pollution is high.- Coway is a trusted brand worldwide. In fact they are No.1 brand in the world.- air is sucked through from all sides at front and goes through 3 level purification and comes out from top.- power code is lengthy and useful.- power consumption is less so less electricity bill.- produces no noise at low speed. Very good for using at night- 5000 hrs activated carbon filter claimed life- 25000 hrs HEPA filter claimed life- 3 years warranty gives peace of mind.- Has very good and prompt customer care.- Made in Korea and so build quality is good- Light weight and portable.Cons :- does not have air quality indicator which all its competitor has at this price point so we have no idea how much pollution we have and what fan speed to select. This is clear mentioned in description of the product but I wrote this point because I feel this feature is definitely needed in an air purifier.- has only 3 level purification while competitors offer 7 level purification. Like philips and honey well.- No wifi, no Bluetooth, no smart features on this device. No way to check the stats of the device. So basically it has features like a air cooler under 5000rs.- Air gets sucked in only from the sides and not from front so it makes me wonder about the efficiency of purification as only side part of the filter will be used for purification and center lies idle.Its not that great or a perfect product but its not that bad product either. All funny tech features lies in their next model which is worth 15k. Since this is their entry level product it comes with very less features.personally i do not feel any difference in air quality as I keep my house very clean daily , But bought it as a additional protection. So purification wise I cannot give that much of a review.Update after Using it for over 1 month :- It definitely cleans the air from particulate matter and I could see a lot of dust settled in the first layer of filter. I can easily remove/clean the dust with a vacuum cleaner. It was a bit tricky to remove dust from activated carbon filter as these things are almost like black hole and absorbs everything to it. hepa filter was least dirty as its the final filter in our air purifier.- Even though air is sucked from sides, it passes through all area of the filter and not just by the sides and I could see dust getting settled inside filter evenly .- I now always use this filter on high speed fan mode as I am staying near to a cement factory , dust gets settled a lot at night.Planning to buy a bigger and better air purifier from Coway as I trust the brand and its performance now. Will recommend it to everyone. Only con is that this air purifier does not come with air quality indicator but its like a Royal Enfield without its fuel indicator, you will get used to it after 1 week of usage. No biggie.Update after 7 months :Product has stopped working after 7 months. Its not turning on at all.I could not find any service center near Bangalore.Only way to contact coway is through email and I have done the sameReducing the rating until a solution is foundUpdate after fixing the issue :- Coway customer care was very much approachable and understood my problem with the device very well- Immediately assigned a coway representative to fix the issue who came to my house and replaced the parts and made it to work for free. Best thing is that coway takes care of their customers and in order to avoid problems like this in future , they are sending the damaged parts for R&D to Korea.- Coway representative who came to my house very professional and polite, answered all my questions in a very friendly and elaborate manner .- Now the device is working perfectly .Thank you coway , It was indeed an awesome new experience and I will recommend your products to all my friends

Few weeks ago I purchased an air purifier for my room and I actually noticed improvements in air quality and the decrease in dust and This is why when I saw this “little” purifier I decided to buy it to install it in the living + dining area.Unlike some others at this price range, this one does not have any “smart” functionality so there is no way to control it through the usual voice assistants or through the app, let’s say that it provides some ‘smart’ manual features.Its main features include:- Ability to treat air for rooms up to 104 square meters in turbo mode- Removal of cigarette smoke, allergens, pollen, etc.- HEPA filter H13 grade filter (one of the best)- Super quiet mode- Physical dial to change the direction of air ejectionOnce I received it, I installed the HEPA filter (just remove the protective film), plugged it into the power outlet and turned it on.There are 2 modes of operation: Normal and Focus.Each mode corresponds to a particular mode and noise, where the focus is the loudest (even if it must be said that it is not annoying).Just as with the other model installed in my house, the air quality has improved dramatically.Although it is an excellent device, the lack of any remote control system makes it particularly uncomfortable to use (I’m probably used to home automation products), I would have definitely welcome at least one remote control so as not to force me to get up every time to change settings (auto works great for 90% of situations).PROS- Quiet- Compact- Very efficent with just a 50W power rating (lower than some smartphone chargers)- Is efficient in removing bad smell- You can adjust the sensor sensitivity to make it run more aggresively if it detects even a small change in pollution amount- Modern Design (looks really cool and will add to your home decor)- Easy to distinguish halo coloured ring for diff pollution levels- Best in class cleaning capabilities (beats out models twice the price from brands like dyson & philips etc)- Focus mode is great at cleaning areas further away from the purifier and can legit replace a fan at high speeds- Light sensor: if it detects no light for certain period of time then it automatically turns off it’s lights and enters silent mode- Best in class 7 year warranty: No company is offering more than 1-3 year warranty other than CowayCONS- Lack of Remote Control System and App- No timer fuctionality- The light sensor can be an issue if you don’t want the machine to enter silent mode when you’re sleeping (can be fixed by switching to manual mode from auto)Leaving aside the “CONS” I still consider myself satisfied and I highly recommend it (as long as you are not dead set on having a smart purifier but in my opinion cleaning capabilty takes precedence over smart features)At the time of writing this review there’s no filter available for it yet, I hope they start selling it on Amazon soon. I’ll update my review if I run into any issue.
