Defective iron and pathetic customer service
Unfortunatly i used it for the first time after 20 days of delivery. Return window was closed by then. On first usage the light was not on, the sole plate was not heating up. Raised a request on 17 march, 24. the very quick service within 48 hours was attended after 10 days i. e. 27 march. He informed sole plate will be replaced and he will come back in 2 days. And my request went in the air for almost ONE MONTH. After rigorous follow up and shameless reasons that we dont have plate what can we do. He finally changed the plate on 30.04.24.I tried to use the NEW REPAIRED IRON , and fumes and wire burning smell came out of it.I one again raised the request and still waiting for 4 days now.Also, i tried e-mailing customer support of crompton, to my surprise the mail id customer.support@crompton.com is WRONG.If u think i am wrong try it by sending a test e mail and uâll know.The local service centre Supriya Sales is providing pathetic service. Not bothered about resolution and will sleep on your complaint.Hence, i received a defective IRON and no matter the amount is small or big, its lost.
