Super simple to use and makes a really nice soft serve consistency which you can freeze harder. Most ice creams at the supermarket donât use real whole milk and cream any more so itâs great to make your own! Many people putting bad reviews have clearly not used it right – measure your freezer space and temp before buying, cool the bowl and mix as much as possible, follow a proper recipe and donât try to make diet ice cream, and youâll get perfect results in 20 minutes. The motor isnât really that loud but it is quite an annoying grindy noise.Note that the manual recipe makes a VERY fatty ice cream which can feel greasy to eat! Youâll probably want to use whipping cream instead or experiment with the milk/cream ratio.

I’d recommend you try on one of the smaller, cheaper units first, to decide if it’s something you want to do regularly. If it is, this has a larger tub, and doesn’t take as long, though you need to time this one yourself and turn it off as there is no automatic controls like the others. Over all, a great purchase for our fortnightly ice cream making.

Very pleased with it . Makes super icecream.Need to experiment a bit more as icecream is morecomplicated than I thought so good recipes needed.Easy to clean although can not go in dishwasher.I leave the bowl in the freezer so it’s always ready when Iwant it.I’ve only given it 4 stars as it really is a bit noisy – an irritatingnoise.
