Good product
This is my second dLink router and it works without any issues, I used the first one for 7 years and it is still in working condition, however i had a real bad experience when I shifted to TP linK. Even after the replacement from the company, I was never able to use for more than 2 weeks, was fed up running around the service center and threw the product aside and purchased dLink again. Itâs been 4 months and I never had any issues, I use 5 devices in total and the signal strength along with range is real good.

Great Speed but Limited WiFi Range!
I am using the Dlink DIR-825 router as an Access Point. The router was a little tricky to setup at first mostly because the default login Password given on the Box doesnât work. You have to try out logging into the Router Setup page by using WPS mode and then do the setting up. All of it takes time.Moving on, the positive points here are the 5G and 2.4GHz modes which allow you to get maximum speed from your high speed internet connection. Also, there are 4 Lan Ports which are all GIgabit Ports allowing your connected devices to run at maximum speed. This means that you can get speeds up to 867 mbps if you have a Gigabit internet Connection. Also, there is a USB 2.0 port which allows you to share your files over the network easily.The negative aspect is clearly the range of the WiFi signal. The 5Ghz signal barely makes it to about 10-15 feet from the router. And 2.4ghz connection also faces a similar condition. It can reach a better distance but speed gets really compromised.So, to sum up the Gigabit Lan Ports and the USB port are the best aspects of this router. The WiFi range on the other hand and the complexity to setup the Router are the biggest negatives. It could have been a great device but eventually it is only slightly above average.

This is 2ns time (1st from Flipkart) and this time from Amazon .1st Router fail to power up after use of 3 months and This New router i bought again.let’s see what happens.It doesn’t haven’t voltage stabilizer IC which cause more severe to damage during over voltage

Things to know before you buy it
I have been using this router for the past 6 months, and it has been working fantastically so far. The app that comes with this router is not user-friendly as compared to other apps like TP Link Tether, but it gets the job done, and this router has so many features that if you use those features, it is worth it for you. Setting up the router through an app is a bit of a hassle, so I would recommend using a web interface to setup it. So far, I haven’t faced any random restarts or connection drops, but the range of the router is definitely less than that of TP Link Archer C6. For internet speed, it is the same as TP Link C6. Both give full speed on my broadband connection (350 Mbps). If any problem occurs with the router, I will update it in this review.
