This is a review after 1 months of use. We bought Elica angular chimney after we found it is being very difficult without having a chimney in our flat’s modular kitchen. It became dirty and difficult to cook because of the fumes and smoke which produces during the cooking. When we thought of buying there were several studies we have done to select a good chimney. The first preference was to have enough suction power for the motor. Then the maintenance and cleaning of the chimney. Then the accessibility and flexibility to cook after a chimney gets installed. Then the easiness of operating it. Then the stylishness of the chimney in our kitchen. Then the popularity of brand and user rating of the chimney. Then the price and service of the chimney, etc. are the factors we had checked. So after going through several reviews and videos about chimneys we concluded Elica EFL S607 model is suit to us and we bought it. Delivery was a quick one by amazon and installation was also arranged by amazon with Elica customer care. Technician from Elica was very friendly and installation was very smooth. They had enquired us about the ducting pipe length requirement and the concrete core cut size that we had already while setting up the appointment with us. They brought all the required items for the installation and we had to pay as per the intimated amount. Ducting pipe used was 4 inches as our core cut size on the wall was just 5 inches. So additional reducer was also required. After using it for the past 1 month I can definitely recommend this product to all.Pros:- Compact and stylish, having motion sensors and auto cleaning options, easy to clean, fair enough motor suction speed, etc.Cons:- Having enough noise level and cannot understand if someone is talking to us from outside of the kitchen, Motion sensors sometimes do not detect the hand waves, if there are very smoky cooking chimney cannot take away all the smoke or fumes.Despite of these cons the chimney’s performance is satisfactory. And I’m giving the rating of 4 out of 5 for this product.
