Good AC, Value For Money
The Godrej 2-ton 3-star AC I purchased for â¹40,000 is a fantastic product. It’s not too loud, thanks to its sleep mode, which ensures a quiet and comfortable environment. Very very disappointing experience…a nightmare…
 Purchased from Amazon…with nice discount of Rs.17000/- with Bajaj finance emi basis…happy for some time ….but Within a month… AC started giving problems…no cooling on very first two days after installation… technician came.. checked it..and found that the gas was leaking out…so he replaced the faulty copper nut bolts…recharged the gas…with zero charge….After that within 3weeks agian ac got error E6…only indoor unit working and outdoor unit stalled…. again technician came.. checked both indoor and outdoor unit.. after two and half hour…found some unrepairable problem in the IC pannel..said that he can’t repair it….and shall be done by company itself….and he went off without giving any solution for that problem..And hence now from last three days ac is in stand still position…. again we are forced to use our old ceiling fans in this hot season…no guidance or assistance from anybody… neither company itself nor from authorised service centre who did the installation and keep asking for costly AMC plan for next four years…on the fear of such recurring problems in next life period….very very disappointing experience from Godrej..which I thought one of the best company of my own country origin…swadesi….And now I am paying for my Swades Prem……. it’s a nightmare for me and my family…Godrej or God… please help me…-Gautam Shinde, Puneððð

Best 2 ton AC that fits the budget
I was little bit skeptical after reading lot of negative comments here. But trust me this ac works fine. It cools down 210 sq feet area to 24°C within 30 minutes (Temperature outside 38°C). AC got delivered in 2 days and the installation was done on the next day. Also, the ac is very silent. It has got a turbo mode which can cool the area even more quickly. So I highly recommend this model. Instead of going for highly priced alternative you can go for this model. Note I am from Kolkata.

Received Defective AC
We bought the AC in May 2024 when summer was in peak in my hometown. The AC was delivered on time however the AC worked only for 5 mins after the installation. Installation team mentioned there was an issue with the PCB and is better to return the product.I complained to Amazon support team for return which didn’t got initiated even after email confirmation. Thankfully after trying several time , Amazon support team helped in returning the AC and refunded the money however we wasted money on installation and then uninstalling the AC which was not refunded. More than money, wasting time , stress and having to bear the heat in May was an awful experience. Will not recommend this AC at all.

Installation
The product was delivered in time without any damage. However, it was detected that the plastic locking device of the cover was broken. It is quite a delicate item. Also, no batteries (2 AAA) was provided to run the remote. The remote display was defective. I am not sure whether they will replace them or not.There was a big issue while installing. What I learned later that it is compulsory to get the installation done by M/s Godrej else the warranty would be void. They had offloaded the installation to a third party vendor. A technician came and gave an estimate of ~Rs, 4500 including the standard installation charge of Rs. 1416 without providing the rate list. This is not mentioned in the terms of sale. Also, his manager quite rudely told me that I have to procure the additional materials (at absurd rates) from them else they wonât install. I refused the offer and the technician left. I had a talk with the Godrej service manager and he agreed to mail me the rate list that never came.I procured the additional materials from market that consisted of stand, wrapping tape, water drainage pipe, 15Amp plug, batteries that was well within Rs.1000. Another technician came and did the job for Rs. 1700 including the standard installation charge + making the hole in the wall on the 6th day. The technician was just a matriculate with no training by Godrej, no safety measures, no ladder etc.Please beware of such sharp practices by the manufacturer.

Performance of AC
A very good AC, and working very well. Absolutely no disturbing noice. Recommended to go for it.
