Classic is the best.
Initially, the cooker weight did not used to come down (after letting the steam out). This caused spilled starch/ water spilled all over. We had to push the weight slightly. But after 1 month use, the issue got sorted out automatically. I guess, Hawkins keep some extra tolerance for expansion (over time, due to heat or usage). Now, I do not have any complaint, and the cooker works flawlessly.

Far better than those that have a gasket inside the lid which need steam pressure to inflate the rubber seal against the pan and lid. The seal on this pressure cooker gets compressed between the pan and lid which is far better a seal and quicker to build up steam. There are no plastic bits, like the control knob and the base groove it seats in, which have both disintegrated over time because of the hot temperature, on the Prestige cooker.

I like the simplicity of the design, the durability, the ease of cleaning, the time I save. These are not stylish. They are stone simple. If you are in the USA, I think they are shipped from Chicago? and arrive promptly. I have also contacted the Hawkins distributor by email and they replied quickly. So nice service.2 things you will need to know about Hawkins pressure cookers:a) The safety valves last about 2 years of heavy use. I think of it as a wearable consumable part in the use of these cookers. The replacement cost is very low so it’s good to just order some replacements to have on hand when you need them. Replacement safety valve screws are shipped from India so, may take a while to get to you. So order some before you need them. I like that there are no moving parts to the safety design valve. You can visually inspect. Nice.b) I’ve had my 4 aluminum Hawkins Pressure Cookers for about 5 years now and the gaskets are still good. Been thinking of ordering all 4 replacement gaskets to also have on hand. I use them at least 4 times a week by cooking frozen meats from the deep freeze and the gaskets are still sealing. So the gaskets are not really an issue in my experience. Just take care and clean them with care, not like a neanderthal. If you do so, the gaskets will last a long long time.

Pros:It just works.Replacement parts are relatively easy to findLooks and feels quite durableCons albeit very nitpicky:The large capacity pot is nice, but you need to be aware of the actual maximum level you can fill the pot as the lid goes into the pot in an unconventional way to store pressure.First time buyer should do a complete pressure test and descale the pot thoroughly as it will likely leave stain after the test.The lip of the pot makes if a bit harder to pour/completely empty the pot and due to its size, it can be very heavy for some.
