The beautiful, durable black finish given by 60 microns thick hard anodising has three benefits. It makes the pressure cooker absorb heat faster making it more energy-efficient. The Hawkins Pressure-Locked Safety lid
The unique Hawkins Pressure-Locked Safety lid ensures that when there is pressure inside the cooker, the lid is pressure-locked like a modern jetliner door. It cannot be opened until the pressure has fallen to a safe level.
Perfect Sealing through better design – “Play”
The lid handle bar is so attached to the lid that there is extra space for deliberate “play” or movement. This ensures perfect sealing of the lid with the rim of the cooker body. This is an advanced design feature – do not try to tighten the bar and remove this “play”!
Fixed Sturdy Pivot
The fixed sturdy pivot assists the self-centralising lid in locking securely and safely in place, ensuring a steam-tight seal. It is also designed so that no undue pressure is put on the plastic handles, as it is part of the metal handle itself. Thus the handles last longer.
Superior Pressure Regulation
The New Improved pressure regulation system regulates pressure better, cooks faster, saves more fuel, is easier to insert and remove and reduces sprouting of frothy foods (such as dal).

1-2 person ke lie achha hai.. i was confused bcoz the lid’s handle was loosen and moving up-down, right -left, so i returned it, but after watching some reviews so i realised that it made like this only for the safety reasons and all. So i cancelled the return.

Hawkins brand warranty policy is just a fraud
This Hawkins cooker of 3.5 ltrs suffered from bulging bottom within 1 year of use. I took it to Hawkins store, they fixed that bulge temporarily after 1 month of wait. But upon reusing the cooker for a while it’s bottom started bulging again that I became afraid that it might explode someday. I had changed safety valve timely, done everything right but the bulge wouldn’t stop. So i contacted Hawkins about the problem and replacement beacuse of 5 year warranty on the product but they simply refused any warranty claim and blamed it on “dry heating” of the cooker though I haven’t dry heated the cooker and have taken proper care of it. Furthermore, they told me to take it to store again( which is 200kms away from where i live) and all they do is fix it with a hammer ð¨ i guess. It’s not my first time using a pressure cooker and I have never faced any issue of this sort with any of my cookers. So all their warranties are fake and fraud and product quality below average. Pathetic Hawkins !

Iâm more than pleased with this cooker from Hawkins. The product arrived in a good condition without any damages along with warranty.It is pretty good quality wise and is very easy to use. It retains heat in a uniform manner and therefore the cooking time is decreased. Also, without the lid, it can be used as a kadhai, for making curries, kheer or halwa!The open surface area is also large which facilitates easy ladle movement.Iâm happy with my purchase.

When I got it in on the 1rst day didnât pay attention to the O-gasket.Is that black circle that goes on the lid, and if is not put wright the lid wonât be sealed and closed properly.The instructions donât explain that part.I asked online but whoever answered had no clue how to explain it.Anyway there is a tiny white dot and that part has to be placed under the lid handle or otherwise it stays loose.Thatâs the only issue I had with this.Other than that everything alls is set.Very good Product.I am impressed.I red ppl saying that leaks but I didnât experience any leaks.It does what is supposed to do Perfect.Would def recommend this Product.
