Unique Curved Body
The cooker body is given the right curvature, which has three benefits: food is easy to stir during the cooking that is done prior to pressure cooking; this helps prevent the food from sticking or burning and clean-up is so easy! Induction Compatible Xtra Thick Base of 4.88mm
The 4.88,mm Xtra Thick base cooks quickly and evenly. Additionally, permanently attached to the Xtra Thick base is a plate of AISI 430 magnetic stainless steel which makes the cooker induction compatible.

The lid handle bar is so attached to the lid that there is extra space for deliberate “play” or movement. This ensures perfect sealing of the lid with the rim of the cooker body. This is an advanced design feature – do not try to tighten the bar and remove this “play”!

The cooker is good. My daughter is using it in USA. The only problem is that the side handle was broken, when it was being taken to US as part of the checked in baggage. I am not aware as the same is available as a spare part.

I read a lot of reviews on this cooker in Amazon and saw a few reviews that showed the cooker whistle leaks. I still bought it courageously and Iâm a very careful cooker and chef and carefully I first time cooked rice.Following big problems:1. It spilled water upon whistle around allSurroundings and on floor. I had to literally wipeOut the cooktop and floor an extra work whileCooking.2. It was non stick and mostly ok but at the mid and top portions it did sticky of the rice etc.3. Washing is easy and difficult. Easy to wash inside bottom but very difficult to wash the inside top as you have to tilt it to make water come out of the curve unlike prestige cooker where no curves at top inwards.4. Very tough to remove washer and wash as washer black one doesnât move much easily.5. Very big surprise and problem was I canât tuckIn the spoon inside it and close as we want toUse same spoon for night as that in morning and we generally close cooker keeping spoons inside. This cooker doesnât even allow a spoon size to be kept inside and close lid.I have been using prestige for over 10 years now. Never had a single problem, no leaks, non stick hard anodoized and spoons and spatula all can go on and we can close the lid. This time I bought this and first cooking itself was a deal breaker experience. Iâll throw and buy prestige again..Some other reviews here talked about same leaking problem. Do not put your money on this product.

This 2qt. pot is perfect for 2-3 people. So much easier to control the amount you cook at one time. Easy to clean, safe, heats very fast & performs great. The weight works different from most pressure cookers but after using it a few times itâs very easy to understand. Out of my pressure cookers this is my wife & my go to pressure cooker, love it!
