A Good Scale. Does The Job
The HealthSense Chef-Mate KS33 does exactly what it is supposed to do. The machine is light weight, which is great. The build quality seems fine – but I’m not sure how it will hold up if dropped or it takes a fall. The LED display backlight is good feature; though the machine would works just fine without the light as well. You could go for one of the cheaper models that don’t have a backlight as well if you use it in a well-lit room. But those other variant don’t come with a bowl.Overall, I’m satisfied with the product. It is a good weighing scale. The con I can see is there is no OFF button. The machine powers off on it’s own after a little bit, maybe 2 mins (haven’t exactly timed it). Would have liked a dedicated OFF button as well. But this is a minor inconvenience.

Worst product don’t buy
After seeing lot of food scale machine based on the review I bought this product, it worked for 3 months I suggested this product to my friends. After 3 months there is lot of issues with this product. I called Amazon customer care they told to contact seller and they can’t help. I contacted seller they communicate only over mail and do time pass with lot of stupid questions to pick my product for service it took 20days. I dono what service they did I see only battery cell was changed after 2-3 days again it stopped working. . On display I see weight number keep changing by itself dono is there any ghost sitting on the weight machine. On 20th aug again i initiated for service and it was told it will be picked on 21th aug till no response. Worst customer service they have. Now I see my friends also facing same issues and all 4 weight machine have same issue.I suggest not to buy this product better buy the weight machine which is cheaper one use it for sometime and throw it when it is not working u can buy 3-4 product with this money.

Problem after 3 months of using
 I have been using One more Kitchen Scale (KS 40) from Health-Sense since last few years. Which is definitely a great scale. Only downside was of that scale was not having a backlit Display. So baught the KS 33 Model. KS 33 is easier to use coz of the display light and elevated surface of the scale makes it easy to view the display (KS 40 display sometime gets covered if using a larger bowl or plate for measurement). After using for approx 3 months the scale started showing abnormality with measurement. Switching on to stabilize the scale to zero takes much longer and then the scale goes from “0” to a “-” number (can be “-5” sometime can be “-18” sometimes) before stabilizing there. So that has become annoying. Though service centre response was prompt but unfortunately they were unable to fix the error in 1st service and I had to send it again for a second service. Now I’m awaiting for their response.
