How to Get Started
Configure “HomeMate Smart” App
- Search “HomeMate Smart” on App store or Scan the QR code to download and install it. Set up your “HomeMate Smart” account.
- Select add Device(+) > Node Switch and confirm the device in the App.
- Connect the Smart Switch to your local WIFI with your phone connecting to it.
Connect Alexa device
- Log in Alexa app, Choose skills in the options bar, and search the HomeMate Smart.
- Select HomeMate Smart skill and then click the Enable skill.
- When it prompt successfully linked, it means the Alexa account is linked with HomeMate Smart account.

- Neutral wire is mandatory for connection, please check before purchasing.
- To reset the devices, Switch on/off the manual switch for 7-8 times. A beep sound will come once the device gets resets.

Highly recommended smart switch
Built quality is very good, best part is you can enter the setup mode without opening switch box. It is compatible with Alexa, Google and siri since it can be installed with smart life app. Compatibility with siri is very important for iPhone users like us. Customer service is very responsive and replaced my defective switch even after 10days returnable period was over. Replacement process was very smooth. Highly recommended.

It is working fine
It is working fine for all options except automated scene creation. If you create a scene for switch off the device and then first you run that scene then switch will off and then run the same scene to switch off but this time the switch will ON instead off. And the third time run the same scene then switch will off.In short the scene for off is working as a toggle mode switch.I think it is a software/Firmware bug.If possible please fix it.This issue only with scene other ON/OFF operations from App or Manual switch is working perfectly as per specification.

I have about 10 home mate retro fit switches.5 are from 2022 – They all work prefectlyOther 5 are from 2024 and 3 have already failed.QC has gone down. They used to be really good earlier but now they’re junk.Stay away.

Very good product and warrantysupport
I have been using multiple Homemate smart switches since the past 6 months. These are very easy to use and easy to install as well. Have not used with ALexa but will be trying it later. Since I had many devices a couple of them needed warranty support, which I got from the Homemate team and I’m happy about it. Overall satisfied with the product.

Good support from customer care
I order the product in bulk to automate my newly constructed home. Unfortunately around 6 to 6 units stopped working within a week. To my surprise when I contacted the customer care, they told itâs under warrenty and took complete ownership by replacing the units as well arranged return courier to pick the non working units. Highly appreciate the responsibility the company has. Would recommend for sure.

Works well, but know few points before buying
Product is neat, good and compact. Installation is very easy, no electrician is required, if you have little bit of fingering mindset :-). This 2 node smart switch module fits behind the traditional switch board. Setting up in mobile app is easier with it’s BLE feature, you don’t have to discover. All the switches will be automatically discovered by Alex/Google, if you already linked Homemate skill. But there is catch…If you want to add this device in Smart Life app, Alexa will recognise it as one group switch. That means, you cannot voice control individually. If your other devices are in Smart Life or Tuya app, you will lose the advantage of single app for better scene based automation. You must use Homemate Smart app for this 2 node switch.Other points to consider: 1) The module clips to fit into traditional switch board are very flimsy, just like traditional switches, so be careful, 2) If Live and neutral are connected in reverse, it will not work, so be careful, 3) after installation and closing the board, the signal reception will be drastically reduced, so be mindful of distance between router and module, 4) You should be tech savvy to converse with customer care, if you encounter any issue, but they are very helpful.Having spent big amount, being an electronic item, not sure of longevity. But will update, if I encounter any bitter experience.But believe me, it’s fun and convenient to have such gadgets at home, as long as they work. First adopters have to pay premium but the price may come down further.
