How to Get Started
Configure “HomeMate Smart” App
- Search “HomeMate Smart” on App store or Scan the QR code on Product to download and install it. Set up your “HomeMate Smart” account.
- Select add Device(+) > Smart Plug 16A and confirm the device in the App.
- Connect the Smart Plug to your local WIFI with your phone connecting to it.
Connect Alexa device
- Log in Alexa app, Choose skills in the options bar, and search the HomeMate Smart.
- Select HomeMate Smart skill and then click the Enable skill.
- When it prompt successfully linked, it means the Alexa account is linked with HomeMate Smart account.
Ready for the Smart Home

Most reliable and consistent Smart Plug
I have used Wipro, Homemate and Smartmesh plugs till now and in that this Homemate one is the best one. I have 4 Homemate plugs. I also had 4 Smartmesh’s plugs but they struggle with wifi connection and are very inconsistent. Forget the last state in between or drop the connection when there is power outage. Wipro one just got burned just within 4 months without any reason as there was no over current or any other issue. Also Wipro is expensive. This Homemate one works just perfect. Good wifi coverage. Also has a kinda offline mode which works perfect for me as I use this to turn on and off one of my wifi extender and only this plug works to switch on on the perfect time. Also the consistency it great, never forgets the last state and also is very quick to respond. I have never faced a dropped connection on this plugs even once.I’ll stick to these plugs only going forward just because of their consistency and reliability. Highly recommended smart plug.Update Aug 2024Recently one of the plug stopped working within warranty. When I raised concern the customer support was quick to respond and as it was in warranty they arranged for pickup of defective plug and replaced it in few days. This made me loyal customer of Homemate! Only thing for improvement is the communication from the customer care and speed of replacement. The replacement took long time to reach home.

All alternate day data saved seems to be wrong.If it will show 2kwh today and after 2 days if you see the same date data it shows 0.3kwh

Value for money
This is a very useful item. It can really make us smarter. It can be used in a different ways for its various timer features. It can give a fairly accurate idea of ââpower consumption and it contains power consumption record and switch on/off record which can be rechecked as often as desired. I haven’t been using it for long so can’t say anything about its durability yet.
