Wost fan and worst cooling
You can’t feel fan air even from two feet and cooling does not make any effect even in 7×7 feet cabin. In short, this fan is for no use & you can’t even return it.

I’ve tried many different Evaporative misters and this one is by far the BEST personal cooler on the market. First off – no filters to deal with which means no mildew or replacement filter costs. The 5 misters are pointing right at you with no filter obstructions.Second – unit is portable meaning that the unit is light weight with a convenient carrying strap that also has a tank lid with a gasket to prevent spillage when carrying from room to room. I’m not sure why some reviewers are confused by the meaning of ‘portable’ thinking it has a lithium battery for charging. I suppose one could bring a portable charger to plug in fan if that was desired. However, no where on the item description page does it mention charging. The mister comes with a cable AND a wall plug.Third – This is a personal cooler that has a range of about 2 feet. One can use this on their desk or nightstand. In no way shape or form does this little fan/mister advertise cooling an entire room, thus it’s a personal cooler to keep close by to take the heat edge off. Also, some customers mentioned the need for a remote control. No where on the page does it mention providing this. Besides, this mister is ONLY effective from 2-3 feet away from you so a remote is really unnecessary.Fourth – The Fan, The Mister and the LED light all work independent of each another. You can turn any on or off in any configuration you desire.Fifth – Cleaning is well thought out in design. Tank is easy to clean and the grill is easily removable allowing you to wipe clean the fan blades with relative ease.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Wait until price drops into the twenty dollar range and buy a few. Fill tank with 1/2 tap water and 1/2 with ice cubes. I’ve received this unit on August 19th and have been running it everyday and putting this little unit through its paces running it for long hours. I’m still not sure about the longevity or durability aspect but so far so good. Will update if unit fails. 5 STARS!!!Edit: August 7, 2024 – The original fan is still going strong. The USBC cord did eventually stop working but that was easily replaced. I’ve ordered additional fans and the quality of this product has drastically gone down hill. See pictures attached..1. The quality of the unbranded carrying strap is thinner.2. The wall plug was missing and the USBC cord is smaller in length than original3. The lid was missing the gasket which is crucial to keep water from spilling4. The stabilizer feet that used to fold out no longer exist5. The tank is opaque and looks cheap and the highest setting of the fan is too low compared to the original.6. The original fan had more weight vs the knockoff was lighter. A clear difference in quality.Cutting corners on a once great product will get you negative review. It’s the luck of the draw folks. It’s a luck of the draw. 5 stars on the original NTMY fan. The generic knockoff I received -1 star.

 Edit: I’ve had this fan for about 8 hours now and it’s worse than I thought. The mist jets just leak continuously when turned off. Not safe and gets all over the rest of the fan. Definitely returning.Original:Mixed feelings. First, it didn’t come with the little ice tray, which is in the photos and description. The fan itself is very cute, and seems sturdy. It does cool things down a bit, but not as much as it should for nearly $50. It could be really useful if you’re within ~3ft of it, or if you have the windows closed in a small room, but that it makes very annoying noises. The video I’m posting doesn’t quite do it justice, but it gives an idea. The fan “clacks” quite loudly, like a lot of the small cheap-o fans you’ll find for $5-$10. The humidifier jets(?) make a high-pitched “weee-ee-eeeeeee-eee” noise which is not ambient at all because there is no rhythm consistency. So ignoring it doesn’t work. The essential oil pad doesn’t really do anything unless it’s fully saturated, but those things don’t ever seem do work as well misting diffusers. I’m not returning it simply because I’m desperate (it’s over 100f here with no A/C), but I do feel kinda ripped off. If it were $10-$20, fine, but $50? No. If I had $50 to blow on a mediocre fan, I would probs just get air conditioning 🙄.
