I was looking for a steamer for soup dumplings and gyoza. I like the stainless steel construction of this one vs some of the bamboo steamers which still require a pan and also pretty intense care instructions to prevent mold.I used this once so far and worked without any issues. I like that you can also use the pot/lid without the steamer as an additional sauce pot for the kitchen and the lightweight nature of the pot is nice. I saw some comments that the metal handles get hot, but from using this to steam for ~10 minutes I didnât notice the handles get too hot where you canât handle it.

Love this set, great deal and works very well. Lighter, thinner metal than the rest of my pot set, but it’s wonderful and does the job.
