The worst ceiling fan company and even worse after sales service
I am utterly disgusted by the abysmal after-sales service provided by Ottomate ceiling fans (Ottomate Zen). If you value your time, money, and sanity, I implore you to stay away from this company. The sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by their customer service team is nothing short of a joke.For nearly a month, I had to endure a mind-numbing series of calls to Ottomate’s customer service team, who continuously fed me lies about the arrival of a technician. Each time I called, they reassured me that help was on its way, only to leave me waiting in vain. It was a frustrating cycle of empty promises and wasted time.Finally, when the technician did show up, it was as if he had stumbled into a leisurely stroll through a park. Not only did he arrive empty-handed, without any necessary tools or even a remote for testing, but he also displayed a complete lack of professionalism and expertise. It was evident that Ottomate had failed to equip their technicians properly, leaving them ill-prepared to address customer issues.In stark contrast, let me share an experience my brother had with another fan company, Atomberg. When he encountered a problem with their product, he lodged a complaint with their team. To his surprise and delight, they promptly responded and, within the very next day, arrived with a new motor, replacing the entire unit without causing any further delays or inconveniences. This level of customer service is what Ottomate should aspire to, but unfortunately falls far short of.We had issued our first complaint on the 5th of May and we are nowhere near to getting the issue resolved. The representatives of Ottomate’s customer service team have mastered the art of repetition, mindlessly reciting the same script about raising a complaint over and over again. It is abundantly clear that they lack the competence, empathy, and dedication necessary to provide effective assistance to customers.I cannot stress enough how disappointing my overall experience with Ottomate has been. Their customer service is the epitome of incompetence, and their product experience is nothing short of a nightmare. It is a shame that a company like Ottomate continues to operate, cheating people and shamelessly lying to them without any remorse.I urge you to think twice before wasting your hard-earned money on this disgraceful company. Ottomate should be held accountable for their deplorable actions and face the consequences of their blatant dishonesty. Instead of supporting this laser company, choose any other brand for your fan needs. There are countless options available that prioritize customer satisfaction and integrity.I sincerely hope that this review reaches the owner of Ottomate because the entire company is a colossal disgrace. The way they treat their customers is an affront to basic decency and should not be tolerated. Do not buy this product, it has unnecessary modes which are useless and fan simply stops working within few months, no proper response from customer support team.. I have raise complain 15 days back and still waiting for support from ottomate customer support team.
