Elegant looking but slightly underpowered kettle
This is a very elegant-looking kettle by Philips and has been working quite well since I purchased it. Initially, I felt the power cord was a bit short as the base was not resting flat on the kitchen platform, and was about to return the product, but after straightening out the kinks, the problem resolved itself. Even then, I wish that the length was at least a foot longer.I also felt that the wattage appeared to be less vis-a-vis the capacity and the water took a a few minutes more to boil compared to my previous kettle. I would have expected a wattage of at least 1500 W for a 1.5 litre kettle.
