Easy to clean, perfect for cooking rice
I was using a Tefal programmable rice cooker before. It was awesome but died few weeks ago. It had a lot electronics, because of a faulty sensor it is not functioning. With no shops to repair, I decided to go for a basic less tech/electronic cooker. I found this prestige product having a reasonable price plus two cooking bows were value. Hence purchased it.For the first time, I observed some smoke, like plastic, is burning. But from the second time, I didn’t observe any smoke or smell. Does rice cooking perfectly, you might have to figure out right water ratio for rice and this cooker combination. Every rice cooker and its wattage is different hence it will take 2-3 times of cooking to find right water rice ratio. Compared to my earlier model it cooks fast, 2 glass of rice will be cooked in 30 mins.The best part is cleaning, it is so easy, stainless steel lid and aluminum bol and a plate to place at the bottom make so convinient..no steam or water enters the heater area, thanks to the aluminum bowl design also, two bowls make it convenient when more guests arrive.I am fully satisfied with cooking and easy clean design but need to see its durability. I am sure Prestige as a brand would have ensured it.
