Useless for making Rotis. Good for making khakra only.
Can we make rotis in this – yes. BUT – only the first roti comes out fine. The unit cannot maintain the required temperature to heat up the second or third roti properly. It keeps getting colder and by the time you put 3rd roti on it, it is not hot enough to heat the roti. It is hot but not hot enough to make rotis and the thermostat doesn’t even turn on. You keep the roti on it for 2-3 minutes hoping to see it turn brown but nothing. It’s still raw on both sides. Then suddenly the thermostat kicks in and in a minute you get burnt khakra. Whoever designed the thermostat didn’t take into consideration how people make rotis at home on gas. Probably never used it or took user feedback. Rotis puff up only on high heat. Third cannot maintain that high heat continuously. Don’t waste your money on this product. Everything turns out hard and dry or burnt. No matter how much YouTube videos you see and how much water you put in your dough, this has a basic design flaw that stops it from making rotis properly.

It eases the process of making rotis by removing the mess associated with manual processIt doesn’t de-skill the operation. One should know to make chapatis well on a tava or should learn the skill on this.The manual has to be followed to the t.The dough has to be wet almost cakey, not elastic like we knead for tawa rotis for it to be soft.Dough should not be worked too much, else the rotis will not come soft.As shown in the demo the rotis do come soft. Takes a little time to understand how to use the productLike the way we adjust in the manual process, even in this certain adjustments are needed based on how your equipment wears – some parts maybheat slightly more than other like a tawa, so we turn those parts faster; While pressing the handle some portions get pressed more than another, so it has to be compensated by rotating and pressing the way we would do while rolling manually

Total waste of money….. however you try the rotis aren’t made soft n fluffy. It doesn’t swell up as they keep showing in the video….

It is easy to use. Make the roti almost perfect.Its pressure handle is not that much strong. It’s joined portion appears to be segregated after using few more months.Clarification is required from the manufacturer about its handle as it is one of the vital part of the roti maker.AFTER USING FEW MONTHS:After using it carefully, it’s handle developed crack. Conducted customer care they told being a senior citizen technician will visit my place. But they never turned up. Received message that I have to go to the service centre. Accordingly I went to the service centre and came to know that the plastic parts and are not under cover under warranty. I requested them to replace but they are not having that handle. But representative was cooperative and tell me that technician will cone to my home along with the parts for replacement.MY OBSERVATION IS THAT AT LEAST THIS PLASTIC PARTS SPECIALLY THE HANDLE WHICH WILL BE USED MAXIMUM DURING AN OPERATION OF ROTI MAKING SHOULD BE HARD ENOUGH. OTHERWISE IT WILL BE TREATED THAT COMPANY IS RELUCTANT IN THIS ASPECT FOR THEIR VESTED INTEREST.

Not much difference than an average Roti Maker.
The handle is weak. Wobbles. Don’t know how long it will hold as this is the thing which applies pressure while making Roti. No significant difference than PRM 4.0 from the same brand. The bowl-shaped surface is better looking than the flat ones. The granite type non-stick coating is ok. I went through with Prestige brand just for the temperature controller attached in it and that one is working.
