Superb dishwasher! Easy to use, thoroughly cleans, silent performance.I have been using the Samsung dishwasher for quite some time now, and am very impressed with all its features and functions. I have recommended this dishwasher to all my friends and I am very happy with it. I will list out the pros and cons, as per my experience.Pros:⢠Hygiene â I am very particular about hygiene, and canât stand any stains or soap residue on my dishes. If youâre the same, this dishwasher is perfect for you. Dishes come out sparkling clean without a single stain, even if they are heavily soiled when I put them in. It has a Triple Rinse which rinses dishes 3 times, and once with hot water, killing 99.9% germs.⢠Simple operation â The dishwasher is so easy to use. All the functions are designed for relevant situations, like the various wash programs. It also has a nice big LED display panel, which is easy to read and allows me to monitor things closely.⢠Elegant design â I take pride in my kitchen, and this dishwasher blends in nicely with its silver finish. It is also fingerprint resistant, which is so helpful when you have little kids running around.⢠Convenient â Samsung has added so many helpful features. It has flexible rack height for taller and bulkier utensils like pressure cookers and woks. It also has a Leakage Sensor, which detects leaks automatically and is a great safeguard against any water leakage.Cons:⢠We had to remove an entire set of drawers to fit the dishwasher in the kitchen, but the same goes for any dishwasher so that isnât specific to this particular model.Final verdict is that this dishwasher is 100% worth every rupee. Good bot not great
I did a fair amount of search and concluded with this one considering as this is my first dishwasher and I did not want to pour lot of money into this.When buying a dishwasher. Better go to a physical store nearby and check those models by yourself before buying online.1. Ask for TDS (water hardness) support ?2. After sales service ?3. Auto resume function (will restart from last cycle or where is switched off) ?4. Auto open after wash ?5. Place settings (go for >= 13), 13 place itself will be congested.Why did I choose this ?1. Only Midea & Samsung supported water TDS up to 980 PPM. In my house we primarily use ground water and the TDS range is from 700-950 PPM. Even bosch had support only up to 890ppm. There are mini RO plants to reduce TDS and external water softeners but are very costly. You can get the support of water hardness from the user manual which you can get from the manufacturer website.2. Dishwashers are fairly new to Indian Households. So I needed a good after sales support if something goes wrong. Samsung & LG have after sales support pretty much everywhere.3. Will not auto open (not supported in this model). There will minute bell sound and will show 0 in the display once the washing is complete.4. Has auto resume function if power goes off. But it wont restart where it left off. Will restart from last cycle (this is not mentioned in the manual nor the website).For example. Considering a full washing cycle of 1 hour with 3 sub cycles of 20mins each. Say there was power cut in mid of 2nd cycle (when only 30mins was left to finish). After the power comes, the remaining time will be 40mins. If there are lot of power cuts. Do not consider buying this. Allow the machine to complete its full washing cycle and do not power off in the middle as the water is drained in the end of cycle only.5. Complete installation wont be done by Samsung.i. Water intel with dishwasher should be setup by us (bought the connected in a nearby shop). They will ask us to send the photo of inlet connected to dishwasher as proof. Otherwise they won’t come and they will update reasons like unable to contact.ii Demo is pathetic. They wont know half the options. Better read the manual before using machine. They will just explain few things and they will try to leave as soon as possible.iii. Technician will start a wash and cancel it and will check if water is drained after cancel.iv. No sample salt, detergent, tablet or rinse aid will be given.6. For my first wash. I set my hardness level to h6. I used finnish salt (700g with 1L water), finnish rinse aid (poured some did not measure) and finnish detergent powder (1 full scoop using the closing cap of the bottle). Buy it online will be cheaper. Have not tried the tablets yet. If you have white stains consider checking your water TDS levels and adjust the dishwasher salt with hardness level set in machine, amount of detergent powder added & amount of rinse aid with rinse aid level set in machine accordingly.ConclusionI tried extensive wash for first time and it was pretty much good. 90% of the vessels were cleaned. Some vessels had some stains left as they were placed on the edges. Placement of vessels is pretty much important. Place the vessels which has lot of stains in the middle for a better wash.Would have gone to Bosch if it supported water hardness up to 980PPM. Even though, all dishwashers have water softeners. It is best to run the machines with the specified hardness range otherwise they will simply void the warranty stating the appliance was not run according to operating standards if something goes wrong. I have seen few videos of Bosch where the auto resume function is really good and it will auto restart where it left off.

Samsung is not good for dishwasher
I purchased it 10 months back. Have had issues with it not working twice. The first issue was within 3 months and took 2 weeks to be fixed under warranty. The second issue has been ongoing for a month now and after numerous engineer visits, some of whom bluntly said they are not trained to deal with a dishwasher but still got assigned the ticket and even taking the machine to their centre the issue is still intermittent. I am still awaiting the return of the machine after 2 weeks though was promised a return in 4 days. The point being Samsung is great when it comes to refrigerators and washing machines but it is still an armature when it comes to dishwashers. So I suggest for dishwasher stick to brands who make it as a primary product and not just a company assembling parts.
