Great buiding game but need to throw off in rains
Product concept is very cool. They have actual utility based products which can be build from scratch by children. They always have some simple machine involved which either moves, triggers, pushes, pulls, making music, rolling a ball, turning the dates or shooting a rocket. Its very good to create that inquisitiveness of learning in kids for science. However wud really appreciate if the wood chips are coated woth some varnish so thatvthey dont get spoilt in rains. In bombay rains, all the projects displayed have got that mould powder of green and black all over it due to damp and humid weather. Which is very harmful if touched and inhaled. If it goes in mouth, nose or eyes of kids- very harmful. And it cannot be wiped off completely becaise of so many nooks and wedges in it.Will have to keep them in some cupboard hoping that mould goes away by itself in next 3 months for kids to play again or qill have to chuck it off if it doesnt go away by itself.

Fun and useful product
These toys are fun to assemble even for the adults 🙂 Very useful.Thoughtfully designed parts even to the smallest ones. Sufficient bands provided for use.Instructions are detailed.Few glitches:a) Date cards were missing a few dates and duplicate cards were present. However managed to create the required dates with those cards in the required formatb) the dates can sometimes get stuck in the containerc) the stationery holder compartment base didnt fit very well from the back.

Performance
Building it was good and there are A LOT of spare rubber bands, little tricky but itâs all good. the stationery holder is also in good size quality is good but I think when dropped it will be a bit broken, and no I didnât drop mine itâs good from ages 6+ itâs easy to turn and use, itâs a good buy if you ask me

I bought it for my 11 year old daughter. She absolutely loved it. If you build it continuesly it will take about 1-2 hours. But the book it comes with tells each and every thing of how to build it.MUST BUY.

Iâm a mechanical and mathematical female, and there just wasnât as much STEM stuff out there available for anybody to play with when I was a kid. Now there is, and it still looks fun to me, so I got this to do with my ten year old niece when she comes to visit this summer. Iâve opened the kit, and it looks complicated but doable, which is just what I wanted. I know between the two of us girls (one ten, one over 50) we can get it done perfectly, and it ought to be a cool activity. Iâm pleased to be able to encourage my niece to not be afraid of mechanical devices and to teach her that she can do her own assembly. And I feel like a kid with a new toy.

My 9 yr old LOVES all the Smartivity sets, and this one was no exception. It’s really cool to have an infinity calendar desk caddy, and he enjoyed building it. He has done several other kits by Smartivity, and he has always done them with little to no help. I love that they offer free replacement parts, which we have taken advantage of with other kits when a piece or two was broken. Excellent customer service!

The Smartivity Table-Top Infinity Calendar & Desk Organizer is a stellar blend of education and creativity. As a top birthday gift for kids aged 8-14, it seamlessly combines fun and learning through its engaging construction activity. The STEM DIY learning toy not only entertains but also enhances cognitive skills, making it an ideal choice for boys and girls in the 8-10-12-14 age range. Its innovative design ensures that the calendar serves as both a practical desk organizer and a captivating learning tool, making it a standout choice for parents seeking an enriching gift for their children. My daughter is not quite yet 7 and I would think this is a bit too advanced as there are many tiny pieces to assemble and it’s not easy for her without adult assistance. I would recommend for kids older than 8 for sure! It will be a fun project And the end product can teach them to develop a sense a time and date.

I really wanted to give this to my nephew, but it’s going to sit idle for a few years. Assembling this thing is neither simple nor fast. For reference, the instruction book (not a sheet, a literal book) is over 40 pages long. I estimate this will require 90-120 minutes in total, but we’ll be waiting a few years probably until they get old enough to actually help. I missed the ages listed in the sales page otherwise I would not have gotten this for a 2 & 4 year old. It’s the kind of thing I would love to build myself, even as an adult, but I also am the type to take apart my laptop and repair it myself rather than pay someone else. I fix everything myself and this is the kind of “toy” that fits any kid with that kind of personality and interest who will take apart a fan, speaker, other electronics just to see how they work.If you give this to a kid who’s 10 or older I think they could assemble it themselves as it’s not really complicated. It’s just really detailed and every piece fits specifically and requires the ability to read detailed instructions, match the components pictured with the actual parts, and then follow meticulous instructions exactly. I see this more as a construction project for a gifted student than a toy for kids, so buyer be aware.

I never seen something like this and thought it would be pretty cool to have. It wasn’t hard to build either.
