It’s perfect , easy to carry and works pretty smooth.My only complaint is that the wire is just too small, should atleast be 2 mtrs . Right now it has to be kept real close to the power socket.Still worth the money and great to carry for kids.Just go for it.

Another reviewer has pointed out that is you try to put from this kettle too quickly, then it will spill water. For normal pouring, into a cup, teapot, cafetiere⦠this is just a case of getting used to pouring at the correct rate. If you are boiling water to transfer to a pan for cooking pasta, potatoes or vegetables, you can open the lid before pouring. As for the switch staying in the On position if you lift it before it boils, I see that as a major plus point. I had a rather expensive Bosch kettle before this but the thermal coupling failed quite quickly and I was having to switch it on about five or six times before it stayed on properly every time so this is a huge improvement
