I like how it is easier to clean. I like how I can see thru it while it’s working. And seems to work great. I didn’t expect the top part where you put the cheese in to have a divider bar so I had to still cut the cheese down like the other grater (I assume it is because the opening is big enough to fit ila hand and it is a safety measure

I like the way it shreds even motzeralla cheese which is a softer cheese. Hand shredding mozzarella was a messy job! Cleans up easy.

The 2nd time I used this (Purchased Jan. 23) the plastic inside broke. It is useless now and just past the return date of course. Total waste of money!UPDATE: The seller promptly contacted me and apologized. I was issued a refund and they offered to replace it, but I had already purchased a different one. The customer service was ABOVE AND BEYOND!

This slicer/shredder works even better than I expected. The clear instructions are complete and easy to follow. We like the five options for blades and the overall design so the equipment does not take up much storage space. The company clearly stated this is not a Kitchen Aid product, but it is compatible with the Kitchen Aid stand mixer as stated. It does not matter to us that the attachment parts are not to be washed in the dishwasher, because we like to wash equipment like this immediately by hand, using brushes and taking care not to lose any vital parts. (Also, one has to be extra careful with sharp blades, and we share in the task of unloading the dishwasher with our kids.) This attachment will be a real timesaver and everyone is happy about that! 5 stars–this will enhance our preparation of vegetables!
