Very powerful usb wifi adapter.
My laptops internal wifi is bad and in another room away from the main wifi router I don’t get much speed and latency in online games was so bad. After plugging this tp link archer and after installing the driver the speed and latency has improved by leaps and bounds. The download speed has increased and while playing online games the latency is low and the performance is consistent. It is a well made good quality product. Just go for it. I am currently using it in my desktop as a wifi adapter.

This review is for the product style: TP-LINK AC1300 Archer T3U Plus High Gain USB 3.0 Wi-Fi Dongle, Wireless Dual Band MU-MIMO WiFi Adapter with High Gain Antenna( link for this product style, if you are too lazy to scroll up to change product style, is https://www.amazon.in/TP-LINK-T3U-Wireless-MU-MIMO-Supports/dp/B0859M539M/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 ).If you have Windows 10 then no need for the resource CD which is provided, you can directly plug it in and choose WiFi 2 or whatever the option is visible from the WiFi connections and you will easily be able to connect to any WiFi network. I guess the Resouce CD is for Windows 7&8.One very important thing I realised which had been on my mind is that my laptop didn’t support 5GHz bandwidth which was provided by my router (I have JioFibre). This TP Link’s AC 1300 USB WiFi Adapter supported both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. So I had my doubts about whether my laptop could detect 5GHz bandwidth with this USB WiFi Adapter which supported 5GHz. To my joy, my laptop could use the 5GHz bandwidth with the help of this AC1300 WiFi Adapter.If your laptop is placed in a location far away from your router then I suggest buying a USB WiFi adapter with an antenna like this one. The ones without the antenna work badly when the device is located far from the router.Also, if your router supports MU-MIMO technology which basically means that you can add up your 2.4GHz and 5GHz speeds, then it is definitely a product worthy enough to be bought as it also supports MU-MIMO although I haven’t checked it as my router does not support it.If you are looking for an extender, good ones cost around 2000 and they still need to be in the range of vision of the router and so are not efficient if you place it outside the range of sight of the router. Here this High-Gain Antenna of this WiFi adapter comes into play. I personally was surprised that it boosted my WiFi signal strength greatly from 40% to 80% in 2.4Ghz bandwidth and from 50% to 80% in 5Ghz bandwidth (for 5Ghz I checked in another laptop). So if you want both an extender and a USB WiFi adapter, then you should go for this product.It uses USB 3.0 which is good, as network speeds up to 5gps will not be bottlenecked by the USB.Overall I find this product excellent but a little pricy if you don’t avail all of its benefits like MU-MIMO support, High-Gain Antenna for amplifying Wi-Fi signal, and 5GHz bandwidth support.Edit: I also bought the AC600 High Gain Antenna Product and it is good too. Though a slight difference is that it uses USB 2.0 obviously as this does not need a speed higher than the max speed of USB 2.0 ( 480mbps). Well it shouldn’t matter anyway.

Tp link is very good brand in this category. Delivery service was good this time I am writing this review after many days.Does the job what it meant to do very few times I faced problems with it like not connecting to the network.It detects wifi networks less then a minute very easy to use just insert it in the port and you can connect your network the driver is pre installed however the speed may be not quite good I am unable to provide the speed review cause this is a low network zone it is normal to me.using this product after 2 years no issues till now.definetly go with it price is little high may be you can purchase at festive time

Please look at the images. Those are the before and after speed test result. The speed test results speak for themselves. ð The source is a Jio Fibre router with 30 Mbps bandwith subscription and is situated at a corner in a hall room which is upstairs. Previosly I had a lot of trouble connecting getting a proper connection with proper speed from my Jio Fibre router. This thing solved everything ðð. Another awesome thing about this is that it is plug and play. I was getting worried that since I am using a laptop issued by company with restrictions in installing softwares, would it work without any driver installation or not. But…it worked seamlessly…just plug and play.

Worth every penny
I have an old laptop – HPac072tx ,with 4 th gen i3 processor ,it has wifi 4 hardwareI was getting around 35 Mbps speed on 150 Mbps wifi plan in punjab ,also currently my Home Main router by service provider is also an old oneAnyways ,I ordered this and it already increased average speed from 35 Mbps to 70 Mbps ,I was looking to upgrade my wifi plan but I don’t think it is required nowGonna use my old laptop for some more years, happy to know that this increased internet speed by 2x leading to alot of precious time saving in futureAlso my main home router will be changed by company in few days ,so will update about that also soonUpdate : Home Main router got changed today ,speed got another doubleNow getting exactly 150 Mbps everywhere including my old laptop ,This device is working well â¤ï¸Thanks for reading ,it’s totally worth it ð

i have a 300 mbps connection from jio so this is the exact 5Ghz bandwidth i needed. 11/10 still performing amazingly well, and covers a pretty decent area of the house! (just an FYI: this cannot be used to output a hotspot signal. it can only receive signals, not output them)

Let skip all unnecessary talks. Keep it short and to the point:-Pros -1. Good connection speed.2. Bandwidth range is decent.3. It connects automatically to windows system without any waste of times on installing drivers.4. Appearance is attractive and compact.Cons -1. Build quality is average according to my opinion. They should give much more coverage on joints. Some gaps are visible.2. Installing driver on Linux system is so hard. Ther dedicated driver for linux don’t work. After wasting many hours I got to fix it. Please provide a driver for linux machine also.

Finalmente encontrei um Wi-fi USB que tivesse um bom alcance. A velocidade de rede está ótima, até o 5G ,que tem pouco alcance, está funcionando bem. Já havia comprado modelos de outras fabricantes que não possuÃam antena e todos eram uma decepção. Recomendo para quem tem o modem distante do PC que busquem modelos com antena. Parabéns a TP-Link! Produto de qualidade. Acrescento que também está funcionado nos sistemas Linux.

My normal tp-link kept losing signal because my pc sits on a shelve below my desk. After getting frustrated I tried this antenna-thingie and lo and behold: since plugging it in weeks ago, not a single problem anymore. Worth it.
