    Works as marketed, little pricy
-Needed gigabit load balancer, already had the 470 which limits to 100mbps-This has that and works with airtel-huawei/act-tplink-archer-c5-I have mercusys 4 node mesh H30G (has gigabit ports), so am getting near 70% of speed from the 2 connections-2 days now & getting good speed on the across. All devices are also working fine (cams, switches, lights), so greatNOTE:-Make sure the airtel/act router have gigabit ports. some dont but their inherent wifi’s do else u limit there. check with isp & replace if needed. if u r on a high speed plan, they will listen-use cat 6+ cable (5e too but not 5) as that limits, gigabit cable from router to this LB router and this to mesh/router is a must-if you are using VPN than add application based else VPN will disc too often when LB routes to different ISP

    Good product for the price
I have been using this for more than a week, overall good product. Must but if you want to use with multiple internet connections in one networkPros: extremely easy user interface5x gigabit portsWAN fail and load balancingSmall form factorNo need for omada contollerSetup and forget configurationsCons: don’t use with omada contoller. Horrible placement of options.WAN connection polling time cannot be set in standalone modeSome settings require hard reboot to apply, auto soft reboot not reflecting the settingsThe order of WAN port number is reversed for working order, last WAN is default not the first one

    GREAT PRODUCT
This product met my expectations. I was looking for a Multi WAN Gigabit Broadband Router in an affordable price. There are many other models available in the market, but either they are very expensive or they are not gigabit. I’ve set up two ISP (BSNL+Alliance) with this router and getting merged speed of the two. The setup is vesy easy even for a newbie. The UI is sleek and user friendly. It’s been more than one month now and it’s working flawlessly.

Still relatively new, But does what it says
It perfectly Load Balances Upto 4 ISPs, You can set 3 Fiber Broadbands + 1 4G Router and it will distribute Traffic to all 4 Connections. Does not have a wifi so need a Separate Wifi Router. Its a good alternative to 470 and 480 Series as their Limitation is the Link is only upto 100Mbps. Its pretty common to have 200~300 Mbps Internet Speeds now and some players offering speeds up to 1 Gbps. In that case the 470 and 480 will be a limitation as max speed attainable is 100 Mbps.Installation is straight forward , you need to make sure the DHCP config in your ISP Routers have a Different IP Subnets else There will be a conflict. Rest you can go by Videos and Community Support and Vendor Support is Good1 Downside : When power goes down, it takes up to a minute to start working . On a Good day , you wont know if one of your ISP is down. On worse day, you will see that you need to do a refresh on your browser or wait a few seconds for connection to fail over.EDIT : Some Reviewers are mentioning that this product is available at half the price in Market. So its double the price on Amazon. I would suggest you do your research about the price well before buying. I bought as soon as it launched, so it was expensive for me at ~7K INR

    configuration
product is very good to configure, only thing is that customer care for support is worst, we need to surf in web for clearing any doubts regarding configuration

    Absolutely wonderful
I have 2 ISP connection at home. So, that when 1 connection goes down or becomes slow, i can continue the office meeting with the other ISP connection. I was switching between them manually. Also, i had configured to have 2 Wifi signals in the house and this was causing wifi interference between the 2 signals in some zones.I am now using this as 2 WAN inputs and 1 LAN output. I have connected a single Wifi router to the LAN and turned off the wifi from the ISP modems. I now have load balancing between the 2 ISP and also get the sum of both bandwidths when needed. It is perfect for WFH.

    Average product
It’s average product. Different routing policies time based ACL rules etc can be configured. It can be used to sum up bandwidth for LB purposes but for a particular TCP session one single ISP will work. One major negative, if you are using two or more ISP and primary one down, it wouldn’t detect and failover unless direct link or port of primary ISP goes down. In short link monitoring mode is not working. There is lot of open source products like pfsence available instead of this.

My WiFi access point hadn’t received a firmware update for a few years so I purchased a TP-Link ER605 V2.6 wired router to move the routing, firewall, NATing and other tasks off of my access point to something newer and receiveing regular updates. Setup was easy, the defaults were well chosen and things like UPNP were off unless you specifically enabled them.I did have trouble updating the firmware as I couldn’t jump right to the latest version. Instead I had to download and apply the two intermediate versions before I could jump to the latest version and there was no issue doing that. There was an issue with the USB modem setup where if you changed the country from the dropdown menu it would revert in 3 to 4 seconds unless you quickly scrolled down and hit the save button immediately. One other nit was that is you did a static DHCP address reservation and changed the IP address, it would still allow the device to renew its current address and not hand out the statically assigned value unless you rebooted the router or kept device offline until the current lease expired. After running for a couple of weeks it has been performing exactly as expected with no operational issues. From a PC on my network I can get about 980 Mbps up and down on my gigabit fiber connection. Normally utilization is low and the router CPU load runs about 25%.I could have wished for 2.5 GBps or faster ports as my fiber router supports it, but it’s hard to argue with it at this price point and performance. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this because I have two ISPs, but very few home wireless routers support this type of configuration since they usually have just one WAN port. The ER605 works as promised for ISP link failover and load balancing – these are the only features I am using. The device was fairly simple to set up, though you should have a basic understanding of networking concepts such as WAN vs. LAN, DHCP ranges, etc. as the user guide is geared toward business and not home users. In my case, the primary ISP is fiber 100Mbs/25Mbps (download/upload) and the secondary ISP is 4G LTE 50Mbps/2Mbps service. So if the primary fails, Internet access is still possible using the LTE configured as failover; when I tested this by pulling the cable for fibre, it was a transparent failover from an end-user perspective. Also, when both ISPs are online, the load balancing feature uses them simultaneously; Speedtest result shows 143Mbps download and 26.3Mbps upload, fairly close to the theoretical maximum of the combined links’ speeds. I can’t comment on the other features in the ER605, and it seems like there are quite a few especially for a network device at this price point, but link failover and link load-balancing work perfectly.A few set-up notes:I kept my existing WiFi router, but its WAN/Internet port now connects to an ER605 port configured as “LAN,” and then the two ISPs each connect to ER605 ports “WAN1 / WAN2.”The device can be used stand-alone without the Omada management software.Check your network devices to ensure you don’t have two giving out IP addresses from the same DHCP range – this can cause routing issues. ER605’s default DHCP client range is 192.168.0.100-199 and can be changed if required. The user guide is available on the TP-Link support page for ER605, but you need to select hardware version 2.6 – it’s not on the 2.0 hardware version page, but the v2.6 guide is essentially the same for both.
