Quality, size, value for money and support
I bought the 6kg Whirlpool top loading, fully automatic washing machine. The machine is less than two weeks old. So, it may be a little premature to write realistic review on its performance. Appearance of the unit is good. I got it just before Diwali. So, I got a good deal. 6kg unit is adequate for a couple or a small family. Performancewise it is a bit noisy. Yesterday morning the machine stopped working. I called support and by noon it was fixed. Great service! While the issue is being fixed, I had a chance to look inside the machine. The quality of inner components appears to be good. The issue was with a multi wire connector assembly. I do not know if it was common problem with other machines. But the technician had a spare. Now, the machine is running with only a few hours of down time. So far so good.

This is machine is not sturdy very delicate metal and after two days of purchasing dent at the back side and so noisy and literally vibrating so much machine move from one side to another and installation person was so rude ð

The worst delivery experience – The Whirlpool brand is the victim here.
I am taking the time out to report this matter to Whirlpool and Amazon, the delivery associates who were supposed to deliver the new washing machine were also responsible for taking the old washing under exchange.These delivery associates were dubious from the start, they looked at our old washing machine and started making faces and even though there wasn’t any rust, they pointed to the water scaling and said that it is rust and we have to call our boss to see if we can take this machine.Clearly it was a ploy to arm-twist us into lowering the exchange value of our old machine, which indeed was the case, they said they will give us Rs.800 less than agreed upon.Then came the unpacking of the new washing machine, which had already been opened and had smudges on it – we then asked them to show the ‘mat’, it was missing, they said that the guy who comes to fix it will bring it.But when that guy showed up, he said that the ‘mat’ should have been in the package – and hence we returned the machine – clearly these delivery associates were unscrupulous and soiled both Whirlpool’s brand and that of Amazon and should be reprimanded very strictly.The ‘whirlpool’ brand as a whole lost its value in our eyes – if they have such delivery associates & dealers, than it casts a long shadow on their after sales service.
