Serious Quality Concerns
I bought this less than a year ago. The motor literally broke off. In the first few months, the plastic hooks of the grinder. And then the actual motor broke into two pieces. This is a really bad quality. Usually when mixer grinders last a few years easily, this lasted 7 months.

Product is not good. Purchased the product last year. It didn’t work well even for 1 year. The brass ring in the mixer jar got worn out very soon . This then causes imbalance of blades while moving. This causes a lot of noise and water leaks from the jar. And imbalance movement of blades causes heating of motor. Smoke comes out when motor is in operation.Not value for money. Ordered this after my mixer grinder which I got from India broke and this serves the purpose for Indian style of cooking. Itâs compact so does not take much space in the kitchen and grinds almost everything that goes in. Highly recommended.

I wanted a SMALL chopper for nuts, and pureeing garlic and onions, and most choppers have big 400 or 500cl bowls so when I found the Wonderchef, with two small (plastic) containers I was pleased.But when it arrived it was fitted with a 2-pin plug for Continental Europe or USA, not UK, so I need a “travel adaptor” to use it in my kitchen. Also, the containers have 4 strengthening ribs running from top to bottom, but INSIDE the container, so it`s difficult to clean inside.It`s also alarming to use because to start, you press down on the container, and suddenly you have a big noise.I will keep it because I will only use occasionally, but I would not buy again, and would not recommend.

The product is good, no doubt, and we were using it for a number of years in India. So when that started to leak a bit, got a new one exactly like the previous one here in UK. The only difference with the new one was that it came with a UK plug. Possibly retrofitted here in UK. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks of use, the cable broke and the raw copper wires were visible. It was a electrical hazard with danger of electrocution. We returned the product for a refund. Outside of this experience, I will still recommend the product.
