Fauty MI Tv and pathetic Amazon customer sevice experience.
My name is Saurav Kumar, contact number : 8851-6963-10.I purchased a MI 55 inch TV on Amazon and it was delivered on 10 August. The people from Amazon came for the installation on 11 August.The people who came for installation had no idea about thid product and hence no Demo was completed. The left speaker of the new MI Tv was faulty as there was no sound coming from the left speaker. The picture quality was bad as compared to this product. These 2 people asked me to contact Amazon so that someone can check the faults of the new MI Tv and also help us with the demo. I contacted Amazon within half an hour of installation when we identified these faults.The Amazon customer service agents then appointed a TV inspection on 17 August. The engineer came yesterday and he too identified the same error, the left speaker faulty, bad picture quality and erorr in connecting to Amazon prime videos on MI Tv. This engineer asked me to call Amazon after 3 hours and told me to inform about the same faults and to ask for replacement of the MI Tv. He said that he will update the same from his end and hence he asked me to call after 3 hours.I cantacted Amazon customer service after 3 hours but the customer service agent told me that they have not received the work sheet from the engineer. I contacted tge engineer and he said that he had shared tge work sheet with the Amazon team.I again called the amazon team after 20 minutes and again the agent said that they have not received the work sheet. I then contacted the engineer and put his call on conference with the Amazon agent. The engineer confirmed that the work sheet was shared and he again had forwarded the work sheet while on the conference call. The agent still didn’t receive the worksheet. The agent then shared an email adress with me and asked me to forward this work sheet after I receive it from the engineer.I again contacted the engineer and he told to me that ‘ Sir please dont worry we have shared the worksheet and it goes to 4 different teams so its taking time ‘and he asked me to wait till 1000 hrs on 18 August. He said that there is no procedure to share this with the customer as they do not have such format.The amazon agent also asked me to call again on 18 August. I then told him that why will i take all the pain to contact Amazon agents and then Amazon engineer. I asked the amazon agent to check my complaint status and call me by 10 am on 18 August. He agreed to it.My new MI Tv is faulty and the last date for replacement is 20 August. Its a pain and I still have no resolution.I have still not received any phone calls from Amazon till now nor any updates on order section in Amazon app under MI Tv inspection.Pathetic experience.

A Great product at right price
Believe me… i am hardcore gadget lover and do lots of technical analysis before Purchsasing any gadget. Did lot of comparative research in terms of picture quality, sound (output wattage of speaker) number of USB ports, HDMI ports etc. This comparison i did between many reputed brands like Samsung, Sony, TCL, Panasonic and many other. On all the aspects, only thisbTV justified the parameters and i am happy that i chose it. Only complaint is on installing part. Despite including it in order, company person did not came for installing. Delivery of products was smooth and on time in safe packaging and during delivery, company authorized representative came to demonstrate the product. Google TV is now better as compared to Android TV and this is good option.

I have purchased it second time after a gap of 4 years. The build quality, performance, picture quality, App compatibilty is good enough. Sometimes loading of apps slows down due to network issues.

Only strange thing was .. installation free mention tha but they charged 800 for the same..(wall mount)…Rest service and installation was very smooth..Using it for 2 weeks now and very happy with the TV.. picture quality..booting time.. sound..
